Bowfin Conversion

The Bowfin conversion has been developed for
all VW T4 and T5 swb panel vans (an extended version is available for lwb vehicles). Designed to compliment the new Smart
seats/beds it provides a sleek modern conversion with the emphasis on storage and floor space.

We insulate behind all the rear panels including the roof. The rear exposed steel work and panels are then covered
using a trunkliner type carpet, following the contours of the van to give a professional finish. Available in four different
colours; silver grey, heather, charcoal and black.

You can choose from a wide variety of floor
finishes, including heavy duty rubber (only avaliable in black), light industrial vinyl or 9" linoleum tiles, or for
an totally individual and unique look we can design and install a geometric design with borders.
The side cabinets are manufactured using Vohringer
light-weight plywood finished in various colours. We use a 12v fridge with a matching front panel. A Smev combined hob and
sink with a glass top are also fitted. The conversion includes 240v hook-up with consumer unit and 2no. sockets, 12v
panel controlling the water pump and lights. The 85amp/h leisure battery is charged using a 240v charging unit and by
the vehicle via a split charge relay.
